I am thrilled to acknowledge Vent Thomas for his outstanding contributions to the Homes for Older Women (HOW) project, a remarkable initiative aimed at addressing the urgent issue of housing insecurity among women in the Blue Mountains.  

With over 45 years of diverse experience in theatre and entertainment production, corporate event production, and digital marketing, Vent has brought invaluable expertise to the team.  

His skills in marketing, proposal writing, and business systems have been instrumental in the development and implementation of effective strategies for the HOW program.  

Vent’s dedication, combined with his extensive background in communication and IT, has significantly strengthened the HOW team’s efforts.  

His contributions have been pivotal in raising awareness about the alarming rates of homelessness among older women and the severe rental stress in our region.  

Vent is a talented, multi-skilled, big-hearted, involved, respected and loved member of my community, and I am so very proud to use this forum to publicly, loudly and formally say “Thanks Vent!”
