Tonight, I recognise a young woman, Ruby Woods, who is doing work experience in my office this week. I note her incredible contribution as a young voice watching what happens to women in places like the New South Wales Parliament. She has been inspired by meeting not only members in this place and the other place but also women from behind the scenes, such as the chefs and the Clerk. She is considering a life in politics in the future. She is a fantastic public speaker. Ruby attends Oxley High School in Tamworth, and I met her during the State Public Speaking Championships, where she was runner-up and the only public-school student in the competition.
