I am pleased to recognise Ms Kathryn Tidd on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2026 Australia Day Honours. Kathryn's outstanding service to disability advocacy in the NSW public sector has made a lasting difference for public servants with disabilities across our state. Through her leadership, dedication and integrity, she has ensured that often-overlooked voices are heard and respected, and that meaningful change is achieved. On behalf of the Blue Mountains community, I warmly congratulate Kathryn on this well-deserved honour and thank her for her exceptional service.
