I am thrilled and proud to recognise Mr Gregory Frullani of Woodford in my electorate, a dedicated member of the NSW Rural Fire Service and a recipient of the Australian Fire Service Medal in the Australia Day 2026 Honours List. Greg has served the Blue Mountains community since 1978, earning widespread respect for his leadership, expertise and deep commitment to community service. As a founding member of the Blue Mountains remote area firefighting team, Greg has played a vital role in shaping specialist firefighting capability across our region and the State. Over more than four decades, Greg's service as a captain, deputy group captain, mentor and community advocate has made a lasting difference. This honour is richly deserved, and our community thanks Greg for his wicked sense of humour and his extraordinary service. I extend him my congratulations.
