I acknowledge the Blue Mountains Artfest and the Wentworth Falls Public School P&C committee. I had the opportunity to open this exhibition not so long ago. The Blue Mountains Artfest has been going for 41 years. I particularly acknowledge Chris, Rachel, Megan and the organising committee; Guy Edmonds, the MC; Nancy Wheeler, School Learning Support Officer and a Dharug Elder, for her welcome to country; and Richard Giles, the principal of that fantastic school. The Blue Mountains Artfest is an event that everyone in the Blue Mountains wants to attend. It is a community celebration of creativity and culture held in the spirit of collaboration and the name of art and education. Congratulations to the Wentworth Falls Public School P&C.
